Typification of the names of some Iberian species described by Lamarck

Lamarck described some Iberian species on the basis of col-lections of Jussieu herbarium. A significant part of this mate-rial was collected at the beginning of the 18th century byAntoine and Bernard de Jussieu around Spain and Portugal.Joan Salvador Riera, one of the most relevant Spa?Itsh natu-ralists of his time, also participated in this expedition andcollected voucher specimens for his herbarium. The historicalrelationships between these collections must be taken into V account when searching for types. On the basis of the speci-mens collected during this trip and deposited in P-LA, P-JUand BC-Salvador, the following names, Cistus globularifoliusLam., Cistus lasianthus Lam., Cynoglossum lusitanicum Lam.,Daphne lanuginosa Lam., Euphorbia isatidifolia Lam. andMercurialis elliptica Poir. are lectotypified.
