I've been called "Lucky" a few times over the years; usually relating to random meat-raffle wins. This time, though, I really got the sizzle with the steak. By absolute sheer blind luck, "Lucky Phil" was chosen to help MOTOR pick the European Performance Car of the Year. In three sweet days I got to thrash the bejezus out of the best that Europe has to offer. Day One saw us at Oran Park for some track work. We had a short - but surprisingly challenging -figure-eight circuit with all of the elements required to really put these cars through their paces.
