Efficacy of entomopathogenic nematode (Heterorhabditis indica) in controlling phorid fly, Megaselia sandhui in Agaricus bisporus.

In vivo experiment using 3 levels of Heterorhabditis indica revealed lowest (5.3%) infestation in case of 10x104 IJs, followed by 5x104 IJs (7.1%) treatment of H. indica. Highest yield (24 kg/q compost) was obtained with H. indica @ 10x104 IJs, which was at par with 5x104 IJs (22.6 kg/q compost), but significantly higher than other treatments.
