The $1.1 trillion spending bill passed by Congress and signed into law in late 2015 not only provided funding for the federal government through September 2016, but was accompanied by a $650 billion tax package that will extend nearly 50 tax breaks for businesses and individuals and delay portions of the Affordable Care Act.
