摘要

Despite the best intentions of managers, most employees have perfectly logical reasons for hoarding knowledge. Sometimes the company unwittingly rewards knowledge hoarding; sometimes it's peculiar to the culture in certain professions. Either way, it's no less damaging to organizational effectiveness. Here, Harry Scarbrough describes how research with 30 global firms uncovered four common "knowledge behaviors" among employees, and how to align KM interventions to best address them.
