摘要

Bacteria of the Desulfovibrio genus can participate efficiently in the process of nitrocellulose (NC)degradation by taking the function of the primary unit in the microbial chain of transformations at the denitrification step.When growing in a medium containing NC,sulfate-reducing bacteria transform Nc into cellulose.Nitrate and ammonium ions are detected in the culture fluid.The efficiency of the process depends on its conditions and is at a maximum in the presence of carbon and nitrogen nourishment for the bacteria.The bacteria contain active nitrate reductase.
