On Oct. 26, the U.S. House Committee on the Judiciary passed Regulations from the Executive in Need of Scrutiny Act(H.R. 10), which would require all federal rules resulting in an economic impact of S100 million or more be approved by the U.S. Congress. More than 200 major regulations are in the pipeline, seven of which will together cost the economy more than SI00 billion.
