Limitation of gear tooth surfaces by envelopes to contact lines and edge of regression

摘要

The authors propose methods for the determination of singularities of generated gear tooth surfaces and sufficient conditions of existence of envelopes to contact lines on the generated and generating surfaces. The developed methods arecomplemented with computer programs and illustrated by numerical examples.
