Boy debuts compact 55 MW insert molding machine

Dr.Boy GmbH & Co.KG unveiled its latest insert molding machine,the 55 MW at Fakuma 2005,in Friedrichshafen Germany,in October.The 550-ton unit has a large mold space and tie bar distances of 360x335 mm and a shot weight maximum of 158.9 g.Due to its vertically arranged clamping unit,the BOY 55 MW has a length of just under three m and a footprint of 3.49 sq.m,making it ideal for integration into automated production lines.
