The size of Brazil's 2014/15 coffee crop, battered by seven months of drought and high temperatures, is still "anybody's guess" while it has become evident that the 2015/16 crop will also be affected. Pessimists suggest that the 2015/16 crop might beaffected even more seriously by the adverse weather than the one just starting.Farmers complain that there is so much information around at the moment, much of it contradictory, that farmers who plant coffee on two million hectares of plantations scattered throughout ten states in Brazil, find making decisions is very difficult.
