Pebble Project partners moving closer to permitting phase

THE PEBBLE PROJECT in southwestern Alaska is moving closer to the permitting phase with the announcement from the Pebble Partnership that it had approved a $91-million work program for 2011. The goal of the plan is to complete a prefeasibility study next year, which will lead to the beginning of permitting for the massive Alaskan copper, gold and molybdenum project under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).
