Deceased: James A. Ferraiolo (1925-2014)

Jim Ferraiolo, amateur mineralogist, author and collector died suddenly on February 6, 2014.1 first met Jim in the early 1970s when he was studying mineralogy and chemistry on an informal basis under the watchful eyes of the late Curt Segeler (segelerite). We met at the old Statler Hilton Hotel show in New York City, where the event was run for many years by Julie Fabian.
