Informed sources in China predict that in 2014 the domestic market will see total sales reach about 13 million units. The export market is expected to increase to around 11 million units thanks to better quality products being more widely accepted and therefore taking a greater share of western markets than those in the USA. Certainly here in the UK, more and more dealers are looking to the Far East and China for cheaper products: not only to attract new customers, but also to increase sririnking profit margins. Whilst most dealers will be happy to deal with the importers of these 'new' or less well-known brands, others may well consider dealing direct to maximise profits.
