Prices are on the move this summer. Crude oil topped $106/ bbi on NYMEX, underpinned by the Middle East turmoil in Syria and Egypt, and stronger U.S. factory orders, and by mid-July, it did not appear that it was ready to back off any time soon. The heatwaves that have scorched the U.S. have resulted in the use of more electricity, which has been sourced by natural gas. Thus, the price of natural gas has risen. With the higher price of natural gas and crude, there is little surprise that propane, too, has jumped in price.
