Tanami a golden asset for Normandy

Big things are happening at Normandy NFM Ltd's Tanami operations in the Northern Territory. The company has enjoyed a string of success across a range of fronts, from cost savings to exploration successes, and the good times look set to continue. The first ore has started to flow from the new Ground Rush open pit, and is expected to push the combined annual total of the Tanami operations between 550-600,000 ounces per annum.Tanami operations general manager Leigh Taylor said the operation was continuing to consolidate on an excellent 1999/2000 financial year.
