Normandy Mining sells African assets

Normandy Mining is selling its interests in the Ity gold mine in Cote d'Ivoire and the Tasiast gold project in Mauritania as part of its asset rationalisation programme.The two transactions will yield the company some 33.3m Australia dollars in cash, reducing its debt gearing and generating a combined profit of 6m Australia dollars. The deals will also provide royalty exposure over production.
