Southern Uranium Ltd is hoping results from an airborne magnetic survey will help it target potential large iron oxide-copper-gold-uranium (IOCGU) deposits at its Ridgeback project in South Australia. The prospectivity of Ridgeback, which is located within the northern extension of the Pine Point Fault Zone (PPPZ), was recently elevated following modelling. The PPFZ hosts Rex Minerals Ltd's new Hillside discovery located 60 km to the south of Ridgeback and two magnetic anomalies of similar size to those at Hillside were identified by Southern Uranium late last year.
