RESEARCH CONDUCTED FOR the Australian Uranium Association has put to rest a number of the myths surrounding nuclear energy. Association executive director Michael Angwin said Professor Manfred Lenzen from the University of Sydney - who was the principal researcher on the lifecycle analysis that was provided in the submission by Dr Ziggy Switkowski to the John Howard Federal Government's so-called white paper three years ago - conducted a review of recent (2006-2009) academic literature in the hope of providing, amongst other things, some understanding of the complexities involved in the power debate.
