Tender for the Expansion of the Ras Laffan C Power and Water Complex Could Be Issued This Summer

On the occasion of the inauguration of the Ras Laffan C power and water complex at the end of May, Mr. Faisal Obeid al-Siddiqi, the Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the developer, Ras Girtas Power Company (RGPC), announced that a tender could be issued this summer for the expansion of the complex. Quoted by the official Qatar News Agency (QNA), Mr. Siddiqi indicated that its generating capacity could be increased by 550 MW and its seawater desalination capacity by around 35 million gallons/day.
