FOE OWNERS NEWMONT Australia Ltd (66.67 percent) and AngloGold Ashanti Ltd (33.33 percent), the reopening of the mine in Western Australia is the culmination of more than a decade's work. It also represents an opportunity for Newmont to replace some of its higher cost production from its more mature operations in Australia.
