Latest drilling for Excelsior may broaden the pit plan

Latest drilling has lifted the indicated and inferred resources for the Zoroastrian deposit at the Kalgoorlie North gold project for Excelsior Gold Ltd (ASX:EXG) with the overall grade lifting 240% from 1.28 grams/tonne Au to 4.4 g/t. The company reported late January to a high-grade resource of 454,000t at 6.9g/t Au for 101,000 ounces, near surface resources are now 472,000t at 1.9g/t Au for 28,600 oz.
