Kiernan's Antics

At a recent Consolidated Minerals Ltd briefing it was easy to pick out the resource journalists in the room that held sway or tickled the fancy of outgoing company boss Michael Kiernan. At one stage bets were going around the floor as to whose name Kiernan would drop during his presentation. It was a race between The West Australian reporter John Phaceas and well known Perth resources hack Tim Treadgold. In the end Phaceas took out top honours with his name being named three times, while Treadgold's count came in at two. Kiernan went as far as to say: "John...wrote a good article the other day in regards to the Chinese way of doing business".
