Field activities paying off

Pioneering Australian mining house Sino Gold Ltd hopes to have an initial resource for its White Mountain gold project in place by the end of the 2005 field season. The company is also confident it will increase the existing 3.5 million ounce resource base it currently has for its soon-to-be-developed Jinfeng mine. Gold mineralisation for White Mountain--which covers 10 kilometres of a major regional fault in the country's Jilin Province--has been identified over 1,100 metres in drill holes, trenches as well as in an underground adit. It is primarily hosted by a silicified pyritic breccias in a fault zone between hanging wall quartzite and footwall silicified dolomite.
