Jackson finalises nickel joint venture deal

Jackson Gold Ltd and new joint venture partner LionOre Australia Pry Ltd have finalised formal agreements to buy into Placer Dome Australia Ltd's Kalgoorlie nickel project. The agreements involve nickel exploration and mining rights over 700 square kilometres of ground in the Kanowna-Paddington region adjacent to LionOre's Black Swan (135,000 tonne nickel) project. New deposits in the joint venture project area will hopefully augment and replace Black Swan resources, utilising the existing processing infrastructure.
