Drilling begins on Pilbara manganese target

Explorer Shaw River Resources Ltd (ASX: SRR) aims to join the manganese mining league in the Pilbara hinterland of Western Australia with a drilling programme covering 6,000 metres. Drilling began at the Baramine prospect late last month on 63 targets and trends and targets will include discoveries made by Shaw River with earlier drilling, including intersections grading 10% manganese over 2 metres, and also grades of up to 38% Mn.
