摘要

This article describes the complete experimental characterization of a 10-mm long planar transmission-line transformer (TLT) in a multilayered high dielectric constant film structure. The multilayered configuration was obtained by deposition of a high dielectric constant BaTiO_3 (BTO) film over the conductors printed on conventional alumina bulk substrates. A transformation impedance level from 50 to 10 X could be achieved with comfortable transversal dimensions using this TLT. Frequency and time domain experimental results have confirmed theoretical predictions for this wideband compact device.
