ICE Launches Energy Contracts

The Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), a leading operator of global regulated futures exchanges, clearing houses, and over-the-counter (OTC) markets, has launched 18 new cleared OTC energy contracts for North American power, NGLs, natural gas, and global oil and refined petroleum products. All of the new contracts were available for trade Aug. 1. ICE is now offering more than 530 cleared OTC energy contracts, including more than 435 new cleared OTC contracts since the launch of ICE Clear Europe in November 2008.
