The lens (100) has a contractive band (10) for adjusting refractive power of the lens, and a position sensor (20). A detecting unit detects a position of the sensor with respect to another position sensor positioned in another lens. A generating unit generates an adjusting signal for adjusting the refractive power to the detected position. An energy supply device (30) i.e. photovoltaic component (31), supplies energy to the band and the former sensor, where the band is made from electroactive polymer, piezoelectric, magnetostrictive, electrostrictive or bimetallic material. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an optical system i.e. vision aid, comprising two lenses (2) a method for manufacturing a lens.
