摘要

Apoptosis and necrosis are the two distinct modes of cell death in the human body [1]. The disturbance of the fine balance between apoptosis and necrosis may be responsible for the onset of many diseases [2]. Rapid and accurate identification of apoptosis and necrosis are thus important in the development of therapeutic interventions. Raman spectroscopy has been used to study cell death; however the traditional Raman spectra analysis method is unable to elucidate the changes in the amount of individual basic biochemical components.
