Zinc continues to leave LME warehouses at a regular pace, averaging 2,370 tonnes per day (tpd) last week, but with the bulk of metal generally leaving New Orleans and Detroit the feeling is the withdrawals represent metal moving into off-market financing deals. That said, the steady fall in LME stocks on the surface does look constructive, which may well help underpin market sentiment.
