摘要

This report refers to the mathematicalmodels integrated in the laminar flow cooling controlof the hot rolled strips and shows the theoretical andlogistical bases of the automation procedure relatedto the controlled cooling on the flow within the Hot Strip Mill-SIDEX.To identify suitable cooling strategies on grade andthickness ranges of hot rolled strip was made(graphically and digitally) the analysis of thecorrelations existing between the process variablesfor the cooling line zone resulting the determinationof the most significant cause-variables (independent)in relation to the effect-variables (dependent).By graphic methods the optimal value ranges wereobtained for the independent variables that providedmechanical properties according to the qualitystandards and optimal enthalpy curves were traced(plotted) on steel grade groups and thickness ranges.
