摘要

In the case of continuous rolling and especially in the situation of group driving of the stands, it is necessary to maintain constant the material flow rate on the stands. The variations from this law of the rolling continuity are conduction to the appearance of tensions in the rolled product or to the curling of the rolled product between stands.This paper aims to emphasize the differences that appear between the real section of the rolled product and the section that follows to be obtained after the calculations made on the basis of the relations used currently in passing calculations, relations that admitt from the start a certain approximation degree.From the study has resulted that the difference between the calculated section of the pass and that obtained after the rolling process, depends on especially on the b/h ratio, i.e., the ratio of the pass diagonals.The study was made on different passes filling degrees and finally several correction coefficients were obtained, by which the simplificated realations give precise results in the calculation of oval-elliptical pass sections.
