Pedernales live/work

This complex, consisting of six 18,000 sq. ft. buildings, was developed on a vacated railroad property to help stimulate growth on the east side of the Austin Business District. Several incentives were offered by the city to developer Urban Digs including a waiver of development fees in exchange for 36 of the residential units being priced at or below 125,000 dollars. The city also underwrote several of the streetscape improvements such as 2O'-wide sidewalks, mature trees, benches, ornamental lighting and a public plaza.
