The American Architectural Manufacturers Association (AAMA) congratulated award winners at its 79th Annual Conference Awards Banquet held in Huntington Beach, Calif. Bill Deuschle, former director of engineering at Traco, a division of Norcross, Ga.-based Kawneer North America, was named AAMA's 2016 outstanding member. Deuschle retired after more than 40 years in the industry. Scott Condreay, of Rosemont, III.-based Sapa North America, said, "[Deuschle] also acted as a valued mentor to many new AAMA members and participants as they learned the AAMA ropes." Deuschle maintained 36 active committee and task group memberships, bringing the total to 89 over the course of his service. Deuschle served as an AAMA board member and aluminum material council first vice president, document management committee vice-chair and advisory co-chair at the National Fenestration Rating Council.
