摘要

Flying shears of different designs are used to cut metal in the lines of continuous intermediate mills, section mills, sheet mills, and other types of mills. However, one of the requirements that they all must meet is the attainment of a high degree of precision in cutting metal to measured lengths. The dependence of the cutting error on different process parameters is determined for shears that are operated with electrical equalization of the speeds.
