Research is critical in medical practice, both to help establish thescientific basis for intervention and to evaluate interventions putinto practice. This is equally true in public health.However, undertaking useful research is complex and theprocess subtle. It is paramount that researchers fully recognizethe value of collaboration at all levels in the development andimplementation of research.
