摘要

Whilst many medical educators believe interprofessional learning (IPL) will promote teamwork and collaboration, and that better patient outcomes will result, there is still little convincing evidence to support this stance. Well designed and rigorously performed research studies into all aspects of IPL are urgently needed if the holy grail of evidence for the effectiveness of IPL is to be discovered. One of the barriers to carrying out such research has been the relative paucity in the literature of validated instruments with which to measure outcomes.
