An Act to amend the law relating to dealers in scrap metal and similar goods, and to dealers inmarine stores, and for purposes connected therewith. 31st July 1964 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows: 1 - (1) Every local authority shall maintain a register of persons carrying on business in their area as scrap metal dealers; and, after the expiration of three months beginning with the commencement of this Act, no person shall cany on business as a scrap metal dealer in the area of a local authority unless the appropriate particulars relating to him are for die time being entered in the register maintained by the authority under this section.
