Loose sausage sales still dominated by butchers

LOOSE SAUSAGE sales, one of the few categories still dominated by butchers, shops, are regaining market share as consumers become increasingly aware of food ingredients and seek personal service. Loose sales have increased by three per cent year-on-year to a market share of 15.6 per cent, according to data from research consultant Taylor Nelson Sofres published in Sausages - A Category Update last week.
