Commodities major Glencore has forecast a sizeable lift in marginson both its thermal and metallurgical (met) coal operations for 2016and 2017, as benefits flow from the recent upswing in market prices.The margin upgrade, revealed in a 1 December investor update,earmarks the company’s coal division as a substantialcontributor to a strong emerging recovery from a highly stressed2015-16 for Glencore.
