As firms try to win the war for talent and find "A" Players to fill critical roles, there are several important findings from the current Material Handling Management 2007 Salary Survey that should be considered for effective recruiting, hiring and retention strategies. According to the compensation study data, 69% of the employees surveyed are very satisfied or satisfied and just 7.6% of employees are unsatisfied or very unsatisfied. How should such data affect your decisions on hiring and recruiting? We will focus on some practical applications from the compensation study that can improve the chances of hiring "A' talent in the marketplace. We will also look at some innovative approaches to human capital that are becoming best practices.
