REFANOL - a new range of furane resin binders

REFANOL is a range of modern furane resin binders which are based on polymerised furfuryl alcohol in order to reduce the content of free furfuryl alcohol monomer which has been the subject of recent EU chemical hazard classification changes. The development of this new family of binders and its practical application in an iron foundry will be described in the following chapters.
