Refurb for gear shaper is stroke of genius

Gear shaping software and motion control hardware from NUM (0871 750 4020) has been used to bring an old manually-controlled gear shaper machine up to modern control standards. The gear shaper was bought by Stoke-On-Trent-based DePe Gear Co for manufacturing large internal gears for the wind turbine industry and the company subsequently commissioned Euro CNC (01885 488514) to carry out the necessary refurbishment work.
