Columbia unveils Omni-Heat technology

Active outdoor apparel manufacturer Columbia Sportswear has launched a new range of Omni-Heat super insulating liners that promises to keep wearers up to 20% warmer. Using reflective technology, the Omni-Heat garments regulate body temperature whilst still allowing excess heat and moisture vapour to escape. First worn by members of the Canadian Freestyle Ski Team at the 2010 Winter Olympic Games, Omni-Heat insulation is now available to consumers worldwide. The range includes nearly 100 styles of apparel, footwear and accessories.
