In the near future, manufacturers most likely will not have a choice when it comes down to nutritional labelling. By 2006, the European Commission will have a legislative proposal on the table. Although the consultation campaign has not started yet, it is already clear that the current system of (voluntary) nutritional labelling does not work. What needs to change?
