The Hippo filter from Filtertechnik is one of the most versatile filtration systems on the market, eliminating and controlling long-term diesel bug contamination, water and heavy contaminants in the marine industry. Whilst most standard in-line filters clean down to 20 micron efficiency, the Hippo filter is capable of removing harmful solid contaminants down to less than 2.8 micron. The filter operates by taking a set volume of fuel and purifiying it as it passes through the dual density filter media.
