As a teen,I rebelled against my oil heritage and swore I'd never work in the oil industry.Upon graduating from high school,I got a job at Hygrade Meat Packing Company on the hot dog line.Dogs came flying at you like you were in front of a firing squad of gatling guns.It was a scene from Lucille Ball's candy factory skit.Driving an oil truck didn't look so bad after that.I redirected my distain for oil to a hatred of hot dogs.I swore I'd never eat another hot dog as long as I lived.
