Brake calls for random testing

According to Home Office statistics, just 2% of drivers were breath tested for drink driving in 2009. This coincides with research from Brake and Direct Line, showing that the public think that there is little chance of being caught drink-driving. Fifty three per cent of drivers think there is a less than a one in four chance of being caught if they were to drive over the limit, while nearly 31 % think there is less than a one in ten chance of being caught.
