Despite the economic crisis, the level of interest in developing European sales at this year's PMA Fresh Summit trade fair in the US made it apparent that Europe remains a key market for fruit and vegetable producers worldwide. For the global fresh produce trade, there are probably few industry fairs where the tickets and accommodation for the next event is booked almost 12 months in advance, but along with Fruit Logística, this is almost certainly the case for the PMA Fresh Summit.
