Key supermarkets in Europe obviously are interested in the pomelo, and are even ordering in advance. The major consumption is centralized in the Asian community, who shows special preference to the flavour of the fruit. Jianong Fruits and Vegetables Co., Ltd started exporting honey pomelo to Europe in 2003. In the past two harvest seasons, the company has exported 150 containers or some 4,0001 of honey pomelo, which enjoys increasing popularity among European consumers.
